                                              Art Prostitute

This performance is the final result of a series of actions and ideas developed during the PAStudies. It is an ironical critic to what is behind the art system. I emphasized the games of seduction between the artist and the audience to demonstrate that in art its all about seduction and persuasion. This performance refers to all the fake behaviors that are implicit in the art world like for example the cynic affairs between artists and curators. Everything in art is a kind of pornography or prostitution once the artist is all the time exhibiting his inner feelings to everybody. Its like in each project he was showing his interior nudity, even when he is just acting. And then if he is engaged with the art market (that should be, because its the market that defines the artist as artist and that attributes value to what he do), he becomes not so different from a prostitute. So, the artists job is to share the most intimate feelings and thoughts and then people can buy that.
